CBSE Deleted Syllabus Class 10 2023-24
Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has deleted 30% of the syllabus for Class 10 for the 2023-24 session. The deleted syllabus includes chapters and topics from all subjects, including Science, Mathematics, English, Social Science, and Hindi.
Some of the key chapters and topics that have been deleted from the CBSE Class 10 syllabus for 2023-24 include:
In Science, the chapters on Heredity and Evolution, The Human Eye and the Colourful World, Electricity, and Magnetic Effects of Electric Current have been deleted.
In Mathematics, the chapters on Real Numbers, Coordinate Geometry, Triangles, Constructions, Trigonometric Identities, and Surface Areas and Volumes have been deleted.
In English, the chapters on The Sound of Music and The Great Gatsby have been deleted.
In Social Science, the chapters on The Making of the National Movement and Democracy and Diversity have been deleted.
In Hindi, the chapters on Apna Desh and Vyakaran have been deleted.
The deleted syllabus is not considered for assessment by the CBSE Board in the 2023-24 academic year.
