Rajasthan Eligibility Exam for Teachers (REET) is an entrance test for the recruitment of teachers which is conducted every year by the Department of School Education Council of Rajasthan.
As an announcement made by Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot through a Tweet on 30th December 2021 announcing that “REET 2022 is to be conducted on 14th-15th May 2022 for 20,000 Primary & Upper Primary Teachers”.

The Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan is all set to conduct an exam for Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teacher (REET) 2022 of primary teachers. As per the announcement made by Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot approx. 20,000 vacancies to be filled through the REET 2022 Exam. Last year, 31000+ Grade 3 Teacher posts were released and now in the addition of Candidates who will sit in the examination on 14th-15th May 2022 are advised to check all the instructions given in this article.

REET 2022 Selection Process
The REET Exam 2022 will be conducted by the Rajasthan Board of Education to assess and shortlist suitable candidates who are eligible to teach the students of primary & upper primary classes ranging from class 1 to class 8. REET exam is of two levels – Level 1 for classes I to V and Level 2 for classes VI to VIII.
The candidates who qualify REET Exam with the minimum qualifying marks as prescribed by the exam authorities will be eligible for REET Certification and can appear in the personal interviews for their appointment in government & government-aided schools of Rajasthan. The selection criteria for the Rajasthan REET Exam 2022 will be done in two stages

The Exam Paper of REET 2022 will be comprised of 150 questions.
Each question contains one mark and there will be no negative marks for wrong answers.
Candidates will be allotted a total of 2 hours and 30 min to complete the exam paper.

REET 2022 Syllabus
REET 2022 Syllabus has been designed on the NCTE Guidelines.
The Board of Education, Rajasthan going to conduct separate exams for primary and upper primary teachers. The level of examination for both posts will be different. REET 2022 Minimum Qualifying Marks
A candidate must score at least 60% marks to get qualified for the interview round.
There is no negative marking for the REET exam and the candidate have to score overall qualifying marks to get selected for the recruitment.
There are no criteria for section-wise qualification. In accordance with NCTE Guidelines, REET Certificate shall be valid for a period of 3 years from the date of certification.

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) by the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulation, 2002.
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).

REET 2022 Age Limit
The candidates who have attained the age of 18 years are eligible for the post of primary and upper primary teacher. The age relaxation is given as per the category of the candidates. Check age limit category-wise given below in table-

REET 2022 Salary
The candidates will get salaries according to their grades. Candidates are curious about the salary structure of primary teachers and also about other grade teachers. The grade-wise salary structure is given below in the table. REET 2022 Validity
Only the finally shortlisted candidates are liable for REET Certification after which they can appear for interview rounds for the schools in the state. The REET 2022 exam validity will be of 3 years from the date of issuance of the REET exam certificate. After 3 years the REET exam certificate will expire and the candidate has to reappear for REET Exam if required.

REET 2022 Cut-off
REET 2022 Cut-off is the minimum score to qualify for the written examination. The Board of Education, Rajasthan will release cut-off category-wise once the written exam will be conducted.
