Verification of Educational documents by the CBSE – regarding. You may be aware that the first of its kind online repository of digital academic documents was developed by CBSE and launched in 2016.

This repository has been integrated
with NAD’s DigiLocker platform. At present, result data of Class X & XII examinees of 21 years i.e. from 2001 to 2022 is available online for downloading of digital documents by students and verification by employers and higher education institutions.

All these documents are digitally signed and have PKI based QR code for
authentication. These academic documents can be verified with the help of a specially
designed mobile app.

Also, for bulk verification, the CBSE is giving API to Higher Education Institutions & Govt. Employers, if required by them. The detailed process is annexed.
Every year, approximately, 35 lakh students appear in the Board’s Examinations.

Hence, many institutions and organizations are requesting CBSE to verify the.documents submitted by these students.

CBSE has 16 Regional offices and the record of the students is maintained by
them. Many organizations are sending requests to CBSE Head Quarters, Delhi for
verification, and thus, work of verification is delayed.

As CBSE has developed an online repository of digital academic documents, hence, all the organisations are requested not to send the requests to CBSE. They can
register online as per the details annexed and thereafter get the verification done.
